Notes

I am one of those who enjoy highlighting the text and making various other visual markups such as underlining, boxes, etc. When inserting a note on any given text an icon appears but the text is also highlighted in yellow. Although this is certainly not a major issue by a long shot it would be nice to have the capability to leave the icon but at least have the ability to turn off the highlighting! OK, So I know this is "picky" but the notes highlight does alter the color of your selected highlight pen. Thanks for a wonderful program and for significant progress in recent weeks.

Hi Bob

On the Windows version - sorry I don't have the Mac version - you get the yellow highlighting if you add a note to the selected text (as below):

If you choose the "reference" option - just below the selection then the highlighting does not appear.

In both options, you get the icon to indicate a note is present.

EDIT: I must be doing something wrong. I have looked at the information and while I can change the color of the note icon I cannot do away with the verse also being highlighted. I will keep working on this.
