The letter ṅ seems to be the common factor of breaking the line spacing. Just a minor issue.

That's interesting, but I don't see the same weirdness:
My default book font is Calibri. I tried several other fonts and saw only normalness.

No.
I think this is a font issue in the current Logos standard font.
This will not happen if you choose the non-serif standard font (which of course looks quite differently) or e.g. Times New Roman.
