I am trying to find out what resources I need to look into to find out when this last sentence in luke was added to the lectionary.

I'm not sure the question can be answered with knowing:

    • precisely which lectionary including its jurisdiction
    • are you asking about a particular reading for a particular date? there are several cases where this pericope is included in a larger reading.
    • what is the evidence it was previously not included remembering that some early lectionaries only marked the beginning of the pericope

However, if you are asking about scholars who believe the sentence to be a later addition to the Bible text unrelated to the lections, I don't know anything about timing but C.H. Dodd, Raymond Brown, and Gerd Theissen all fit the bill.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
