A question about the operation of the Search function on mobile
If I open the search tool from the side menu I get a panel like this:
If I tap the search bar, I am able to start entering search parameters but the rest of the panel is unchanged:
If I cancel this operation, or if I start entering a search term, I get shown a list of recent searches which I can choose from in the lower part of the panel - as well as options to change the books I am searching etc
I would have thought it more helpful to the user to present the list of recent searches - and the options to change search parameters - as soon as the user tapped in the search field.
Is there a reason why it does not work that way?
Thanks, Graham

This is a good question, Graham. The search for the Logos Software mobile app has always been hard to comprehend for me. I like simplicity and easy to use notions. This method is hard to me. I hope you get an answer soon. Blessings

I suggest you start a new thread outlining the issues you have in using search on mobile.
My question is more about the details of operation and not intended to suggest it is difficult to use. I think the search functionality in the mobile app is really good and continuing to improve providing a range of options.

Not saying I do not like it but it is hard for me to see. I like it and it has come a long way
