Lexham Theological Wordbook vs The Theological Wordbook

So I own the Lexham Theological Wordbook. Similar terms are grouped together in the Lexham Theological Wordbook. That is, while researching a subject or concept, you can consult the Wordbook for synonyms. It appeals to me because it explains words rather than merely defines them. I have been seeing The Theological Wordbook General Editor: Charles Swindoll being used in more academic studies. What is the difference between the two resources?

As you can see, the Lexham article is long, gives a summary, a theological concept and subsequently a discussion of the various Hebrew and Greek words that fall into the concept/semantic domain. That's what I would call academic treatment, and it resembles the way of treatment in large lexicons. The Swindoll book gives a brief paragraph with some bible verses referenced and devotional/motivational phrases interspersed. I don't think anybody would cite it for academic reasons, but just to have a short summary on a concept from the named theologians, probably all from Dallas Theological Seminary.
