Exporting Highlighted Words from the Day (with Scripture References)?

Hi. Right now I am working through 1 John by parsing every word. When I mess up a parsing, I want to highlight the word in order to then later export all of my messed up parsings for the day with the verse reference. So if I parse 10 verses and mess up 1 word in each verse, I would like to highlight those words as I go and then easily export the now highlighted words as well as their references with them. Is this possible to do for that subsection of Scripture (so not highlights from previous days or from other places in books or Scripture)?

Exporting highlighted words only works successfully with XPS, and probably a PDF Printer.

If you use the same (one) highlight for this purpose, then an Inline Search for highlight:"paletteName/styleName" will find them, but it is not possible to isolate by date.  The Notes tool can find highlights by date modified/created e.g. "1 day ago", so you could manually exclude results from the export by matching the references.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I am using the same highlighter for this purpose and it's not a color I use for other things. So you are right that both of those approaches work. When I do the search for the highlight under "Search-->All," it says there is no print/export option available. When I go to the highlights by date, the problem is threefold: (1) it exports the whole verse, not simply the highlighted word, (2) it doesn't include the reference when exporting, (3) and it doesn't include the highlight (as you mention at the top, although this isn't important if I could export only the highlighted word).

When using the highlights by date option, I am able to isolate what text I want exported (as you mentioned), so that narrows down that question, if anything did come up. So the only question now is whether there's a way to only export the highlighteds word (preferably with Scripture reference for each instance).

I did find a way to export only the highlighted words by going to notes and then filtering. It will then show me the Scripture reference 1 John 2:27 SBLGNT and the highlighted word. When I select these entries and choose print/export, it will export only the word, but the unfortunate part is it does not export the reference. So if there were some way to include the reference in the print/export process, then that would be my solution.

This is a deficiency that Faithlife are well aware of, but there is no timeframe for a fix.

I suggested an Inline Search in your bible.
