One seemingly small but quite a big change (for me)

Go to a commentary which you have a set for.

e.g I am at Rev. 14.

I want to go to Eph 3 of the same commentary set.

I enter Eph 3 in the usual reference box. I press enter

However: instead of bringing me to Eph 3, it brings me back to Rev. 3? Seems a bit redundant?

I would want it to be like the past. I enter Eph 3 and the box immediately raises up Eph 3 and pressing enter brings me to Eph 3

I've noticed it doing this for me quite often the last several weeks--not in commentary sets but in things like the copy Bible verses tool. I have to enter the reference a second time to get it to go there.

I've noticed the same behavior. It used to be easy and quick when changing from one book in a series to another. No I have to wait for the dropdown list to populate and manually select the one I want.

the issue is also... what does this new change serve? if someone types eph 3 why would the first reference be of the reference the person is already on?

The issue seems to be that the software doesn't change to a different book in a multivolume set if a reference outside the current book is entered. It goes to the chapter and verse in the open book instead of changing books, ignoring the change in the book name.

Logos is devolving...getting more & more less & less useful on a consistent basis. It's gotten to the point where I almost can't use it for anything other than just plain reading...and it's one hell of an expensive reader.

Possibly. The question is that why the change then since it was possible in the past. What possible use would me entering Ephesians but being redirected back to the current Revelation be of help?

instead of bringing me to Eph 3, it brings me back to Rev. 3?

A change will come with Logos 31

If you dismiss the drop down, the current location will be displayed.
