Search function does not find all references

I just bought Barrett's New Testament Background, on sale now https://www.logos.com/product/50418/new-testament-background

I wanted to see if he included texts from Jewish sources, and certainly he does. I ran the concordance and found 71 references to the Mishnah, for example. 

But when I used the Search function and looked for Mishnah, there were only 24 results.

So now I realise, contrary to what I previously thought, that the search function does not seem to pick up any references that are abbreviated, which really limits its use.

Looked at the Jewish Encyclopedia - same thing, over 3,000 references that don't show up in a search.

Am I missing something?

Are you using a reference format or a string format for the search argument? The former should pick up everything in a research edition, the latter will not.
