Confirming resources downloaded on new mobile device installation

I've been using the Logos mobile app for iOS on my (now previous) iPad for 6 years (and on even earlier iPads for many years before that). One of the things that's changed in those years is dealing with downloaded resources. So my question is about how things "work" now.

On my new iPad (iPad Pro 11" - most recent generation), I used the migration tool that's built into iPadOS. So all my apps and settings and so forth are now on the new iPad. Of course, many apps require me to re-login or do other kinds of "first use" steps on the new iPad.

The Logos app just ran - which is fantastic. But in the past, when I got a new iPad, the app knew about my downloaded books, e.g. "View book info" showed them as downloaded. But they weren't actually on the device. So I had to do some kind of step to get them downloaded.

My question is how I'm supposed to handle that now? Short version: Is there a way to confirm that all the books that I had downloaded to my previous iPad have actually been downloaded to the new iPad. Longer version: How do I make sure that happens if it hasn't? I don't want to have to do it a resource at a time (of course). I know that I can see devices and so forth in desktop Logos. Is that what's required now?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm about to reset my old iPad, and this is the last thing I want to make sure I've handled correctly.

Thanks.

I think I figured this out myself. It's probably documented someplace, but in case it's helpful in the future...

    1. In the Logos desktop app, go into the Library; make sure the "Devices" column is displayed.

    2. Make sure the new device shows up in the list of devices (have to highlight a resource to see that list).

    3. Filter the list on: device:"old device name".

    4. Verify that the filtered list is what you expect.

    5. Select all the resources in the filtered list.

    6. Check the checkbox for the new device.

    7. (TO VERIFY) After a few seconds, clear the filter on the list. Re-add the filter on the old device name - you should see the new device name for all of the filtered resources in the "Devices" column. Change the filter to the new device name and verify the results.

    8. In the mobile app on the new device, open a Library window. Make sure "Books" is selected and click the filter (funnel) icon. After a few minutes (depending on the number of resources you specified for the device - for me it was 185), the "downloaded" value should match the number of resources for that device in the desktop's library.

    Hope that helps someone.

I just did the same on Android, but none of the books would download... desktop shows them as downloaded, but I have to manually download or open them in mobile to get them to actually download... even after closing & reopening both apps (desktop & mobile)
