Android App for Logos needs major ux update
I switched from iPhone to Android in 2023.
The biggest disappointment going from Apple to Android was the sub-par Logos UX scrolling. iPhone pros have 120hz scrolling. Many androids do too. That fluid scrolling (adaptive scrolling) of 120hz is only found on the iPhone app of Logos. It seems like the android app of Logos operates at 60hz. This is a revival of an older thread years back. Nothing has happened.
I still use Logos on my android because I love logos, but here's the thought process to help and suggest:
According to recent stats, 70%+ of the world's phone users are android users. I know Logos continues to expand worldwide. Adding this will definitely make the experience of many customers better.
From what I know, there are many logos users who are "basic." They only use it for the bible. In my experience in tech, to keep those people in Logos (rather than going to the bible app by youversion that has 120hz on android) is by giving them a great user experience. Is the basic user going to stay on a "clunky program," or go to another one that's smooth?
I hope these things help add strength to my argument and request.
My heart: I love logos. I just want to suggest something to make Logos better!
