As I was enjoying reading Confronting Christofascism last night, I realized that living in the boondocks, I have become isolated from the people who directed me to interesting, controversial books and authors ... I mean who has taken the place of Jack Spong, Matthew Fox, Marcus Borg ... I mean even Bart Erhman and Karen Armstrong are retirement aged ... and I don't even really understand what is meant by spiritual center vs. church ... In short, my knowledge is becoming very, very dated. (Yes, I remember when "Honest to God" and Alan Watts were current news). Please suggest for me some controversial reading - the up and coming radical scholars, the social commentators taking down the current religious fads, ... And please people, if a title is suggested don't waste my time by telling me how you think the title is full of fertilizer. Let me make up my own mind.
