Suggestion: label the All Search as "Smart" search

I would like to see the All Search explicitly labeled as "Smart" search to remind users that the syntax is different - I'm in the habit of just changing the search type and need to be reminded that advanced search syntax is no longer the optimum search argument.

While it may not optimum to do so, precise search can be "forced" in All Search so I don't think renaming it is ideal

Whereas I would argue that makes it more important that the All search indicate Smart or Precise.

I would agree.

The Search Help summary indicates that it is Smart, but use of "advanced search syntax" will force it to use Precise e.g. Paul IN "Romans 1:17" vs. Paul in "Romans 1:17".

We also have to be aware that it always uses Match All Forms e.g. Paul, Paul's and uses Default Reference Matching in Precise.

Apologies - I understood (incorrectly) that you were asking that the All Search be renamed to Smart Search.

I agree it should indicate whether it is using Smart or Precise searching.

It's subtle, for the AI Sparkle in the query was intended partly to remind you which mode you're in – in both All Search and Books Search.

Okay, I'll play with it a bit more knowing that is the clue to watch for and see if it is sufficient. In exchange, please assume that in all panels, my eyes stop at the end of the text when a panel is partially filled. Putting stuff at the very bottom is not effective.

So subtle that I can't see it????

Mine, too.

It looked fine on the mockup before we built it, but once I used it in practice, with a large panel, I had the same experience.
