I have the Aramaic Bible series, along with the old Libronix CAL series. And I included both in my big layout for the Old Testament window.
But, stupid me, I forgot, when I went to Gen 2:3 (example), it was Logos' guess as to whether Onqelos, Neofiti, or Pseudo-Jonathan (AB). Or, I don't even want to think about CAL's overlaps (largely discover location).
So, to sort things out, this was my 'solution':
- For both AB and CAL, edit the Series field, to separate out mainly Qnqelos, Neofiti, and PseuoJ. This was most important for general use. I'm pretty sure, but not completely, that the Text Comparison for overlapping targums, show each (ie Onqelos, Neofiti, PseudoJ).
- In my layout, for AB, I use a Mult-Book Display (MBD) with columns by the respective series (screen copy 1, below). Interestingly, the software expands the viewable columns as you expand the panel ... so I can use a small panel during non-use.
- For CAL and a MBD, things didn't go so well. I gave up (screen copy 2, below). It would have worked, but the old CAL resources seem to 'link' (within MBD) by Bible book; not book/chap/verse. So you end up with a whole bunch of columns and no clue which chapter (verse is shown).
- And for CAL, I had to really reduce the font, just to calm down the aramaic. I gave up on CAL, except lookups.
