Bible Books Explorer

Good afternoon all.

I am a new user to Logos, what a tool! Quick question: I have Logos 10. When I go to the Bible Books Explorer tool and click on say Isaiah, I know from watching videos that this ought to open a search window that lists all of the verses in Isaiah that are quoted in the NT. That is not happening for me though, it simply opens a window with no results that says the following:

No results. Check your spelling, or try broadening your query.

It does this no matter the book I choose to click on.

I imagine this is user error on my part, but can someone help me out?

Thank you!

Hi Chris - and welcome to Logos and to these forums

I have Logos 10. When I go to the Bible Books Explorer tool and click on say Isaiah, I know from watching videos that this ought to open a search window that lists all of the verses in Isaiah that are quoted in the NT. That is not happening for me though

Presumably you were expecting something like this:

it simply opens a window with no results that says the following:

No results. Check your spelling, or try broadening your query.

You would get a response like this if your search was restricted to the Old Testament - such as searching in the Lexham Hebrew Bible.

When the Explorer Tool runs the search, it executes a Bible Search, using the last Bible searched as the target. So it's worth checking what you see where I have outlined above. If it is an OT-only text, click it and select a different Bible.

If that isn't the issue, please take a screenshot and post in a reply to this thread (use the paperclip icon in the forum editor to do this) and we can look more closely at what is going on
