In some of my personal book, Logos adds underlining where there was no underling in Word file. Why? See example below.
Word file.
Hi Lyle,
could you upload the docx file - or just the sample part of it where this happens? For upload use the paperclip icon function in the menu above. With the docx file, one could check and test compile the personal book to find the problem.Wolfgang Schneider

Since this is not a book you actually own the rights to, it is probably best not to upload it in its entirely. I found your passage, copied and pasted into a new .docx. It did not automatically underline.
Are you sure that you did not add the underline to it in Logos (as a highlighter)?

So there may be some hidden formatting in the document.
That‘s what I am thinking.

This is a recently published book, still under copyright protection; to avoid casual piracy, I think the link should be deleted from this thread.
If you still need help with the book, posting a file with one or two pages should be enough for others to work with.

It seems that the Word docx document is formatted "strangely", e.g. each paragraph having its own particular format, etc. This perhaps is due to it having been scanned and converted to a docx file.I would think that much of the display problem is due to formatting errors in the docx file as it is.
Simplifying and unifying styles in the document may be a good start (2-3 heading style formats, a standard paragraph style format, and as needed perhaps some special paragraph style formats for quotes, scriptures, etc-) The information at https://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books, in particular the specific suggestions under the "Hints and Tips " section which deal with formatting matters, may prove helpful.
A note of caution: The docx file seems to be copyrighted material, therefore I would take down / delete the link to the file in your above post ... I mistakenly had thought, you were the author and copyright holder andthe book was your own personal book.
