I am trying to build a search query that will mimic the structure of Ephesians 5:18-19 relative to picking up the main verb and participles. However, i keep missing. Can anyone detect what i am doing wrong?

I used this rather simple search query (cascadia) for the structure: main verb (imperative); followed by 5 participles

    Results:

    Matthew 7:13–14
    Luke 12:35–36
    Ephesians 5:18–21
    Ephesians 6:14–16
    Philippians 1:27–30
    Philippians 1:27–28
    Philippians 2:1–4
    Philippians 2:2–4
    Colossians 2:18–19
    2 Timothy 1:8–11
    1 Peter 1:17–21

You need anything between the top level Predicator and Adjunct.

Thank you, That worked! Now can you tell me what does the operator "anything" accomplish? Why did that work?

The Search engine will look for a Predicator followed by Adjunct exactly as per your diagram. But there is an intervening Adjunct in the Clause diagram which you have to indicate in some way  - hence the need for Anything. And it will cover multiple intervening items.

You could avoid that by placing an Unordered Group after the main Clause and hanging your two Clause Components off that, which would allow matching of items to be unordered.
