Different library on mobile vs desktop?

Hey folks, I use Logos extensively on both Desktop and Mobile, but am perplexed at an issue I'm hitting.

I wanted my mobile app to have a specific set of bibles to use in Text Comparison. So I go into the Desktop app and set the priorities for this - so far, so good.

However, on my mobile apps - they do pick up these priorities, and display them, but also pull in some other bibles that aren't prioritized. Digging further, I see that I "own" a specific bible on mobile, but it shows as not in my library on Desktop.

How's this happen and how do I remedy it? Because in this specific case I don't want that particular bible to show up as a text-comparison bible in Mobile, and I can't delete it from the prioritized list on Desktop because I don't seem to "own" it on Desktop.

I thought Libraries were synced and it was on a per-account basis? I must be missing something trivial here but I have yet to find it.

Thanks kindly for any insight...

BTW, this is the "Gods Word Translation" that I'm trying to take out of the list. I read that some books on mobile are licensed to use versus must be "owned" in Desktop - is this one of them perhaps?

If you see it in your mobile library but not in your desktop library, then it's most likely one of the free books allocated to the mobile app only.

As to the Text Comparison issue, previously the mobile app compared text from your top 5 prioritized Bibles; however, now it utilizes more than five Bibles (you can read more here). If you haven't yet, you should prioritize at least five Bibles to overcome the issue of unwanted comparisons. From what I can see, anything after the first 5 is 'bonus' and can be ignored. I don't think we're able to change the extras, though I may be wrong.

I don't know if everyone has the same experience, but my text comparison utilizes 8 Bibles; the first 5 follow my desktop prioritization but the other three don't, and seem to be a random (and not prioritized) selection - the God's Word Translation (which I don't own), the SBLGNT (which I own but I have no prioritized Greek Bibles), and the NET Bible (which I own but it is not one of the more 20 English Bibles I've prioritized). Like I said, random.

If the mobile app allows us to compare text on more than 5 Bibles, it would be great if it would simply follow our desktop prioritization.

Thanks Yasmin, yep, you summed it up well, that’s what I’m seeing too. I’ll try adding more to my prioritization list and see what happens!

For clarification: You don't "own" the title, nor is it "licensed" to you. It is simply a "free to use" resource. These sources may at any time come & go.
