Boox Palma

I got the perfect Youtube video on my feed and I saved it until morning, whereupon it was gone and designated "private." Too bad because the poster had said in the description that she was using/tried (?) the Book Palma with the Logos app.

So the question, has anyone done this?

The Palma is only a few months old so beyond basic reviews its hard (impossible?) to find much that is this specific.

BTW the Palma is an e-ink device.

I use Logos with the Boox Note Air 3 C. Logos works fine for reading; it uses the Android version, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. The Android version seems to lack some functionality... such as editing sermons. But for reading and highlighting, which is what I use it for, it works well.

The E-ink screen is easier on the eyes since it is not backlit.

I have a Boox Page and use Logos on it. It works really well, except without the ability to use the hardware buttons.

Keep in mind the Palma has a poor battery life and things can look very small on it.

I have a palma, and several other boox devices (nova air2, tab ultra c, max lumi). Logos works perfectly on the palma. The palma, as far as eink devices go, is quite fast so its actually a really good experience IMO. If you use logos on your phone, itl be just like that, except easier on the eyes. The main difference is that on my phone, I use scroll mode, whereas on the palma I use page mode just like on all my other eink devices.

Battery life is fine, I can use mine for several days without charging. I dont spend hours using it though, since I have many other devices I'm sharing time with. Keep in mind eink devices use more battery if you are doing a lot of scrolling, like in a web browser.

Text is very clear on the palma, very easy to read. I'd say the main downside is that it doesn't have sim card support, so if you are on the go (which is really what it is best for) you may not have internet access. And we all know logos doesn't work that well without internet.. None of your guides will work.

Overall, I like it, but my preference is to use one of the bigger form factors. 7.8 is my favorite. Hope that helps.
