Does anyone have the BrillDAG entry for Ἰουδαῖος? I do not own it and would like to use it for my research project on the term.
I was expecting the BrillDAG to be more exhaustive. Is that all it includes on the term? How does it differ from BDAG?
No ... Brill's targeted user is not the same as BDAG. And BDAG tends to go in-depth where there's discussion. Below, are 6 examples. Both Soph and Lampe emphasize post-NT, while LSJ and Brill are slightly earlier, and BDAG in the middle. MM looks at papyri.
Wow that is very exhaustive. I own the BDAG, Thayers and LSJ. Can you send the excerpts you posted as a picture? I am blind. It is hard for me to read and cite in papers
