Search text/chart discrepancy

I am Searching for instances of references to the Holy Spirit with Person:"Holy Spirit".

Search text for Romans 8 shows 19 references.

But the "Person:"Holy Spirit"in "CSB - Count per chapter shows 23.

Why the discrepancy?

    "Spirit" occurs 19 times (with Match Case) and person:"Holy Spirit" occurs 23

    The tagging introduces the extra count, partly because of referents like verbs and because extra words are inserted into the translation e.g. Ro 8:27 and Ro 8:2, 6. Check the RI pane.

    I can't comment on the Chart as it lacks context. What are the two vertical green columns? How was it generated?

    In your Search results, "of" and "Spirit" (such as in Rom 8:2) are getting counted separately. If you count them this way (and if you check the summary just above the results in the Search panel), you'll see this is reported as 23 hits, which matches what is shown in the Charts.

    If you search an original language text (like SBLGNT), you'll get results that are more accurate (19 results in 14 verses), because there the search isn't dealing with the mapping of the original language (where the "Person" data is tagged) onto the text of the CSB.
