The 2 pane pain: How to use 2 panes

Logos has a standard format with 2 panes. Is there anyway to have more panes? But I can't find anyway to close a superfluous pane, get rid of it. Is there a way? Also, it seems that the 2 panes are limited on Bible study to having one pane for a Bible version & the other for comentary. But with Alford's Greek Testament, I would like to have one pane with the Greek Testament commentary, & the other for Alford's English version of the Greek testament commentary, where there are no untranslated Latin or Greek classical parallels quoted in Greek. But I can't find anyway to do that. Is there anyway to make both panes for commentary?

If you are talking about the desktop version, you are free to have many panes as illustrated by the preset layouts. I suspect that you are speaking of the mobile or web version. It is best to put your post in the software forum that you are asking about to avoid this confusion. But since the question is here, could you reply with what version and what operating system you are asking about?

There is also a quick start video included in your install you can watch.

For mobile and Logos 10 (on the iPad at least) you can have up to 6 total panels in 3 columns (2 each column).

This is a Quickstart Layout with two Tiles (not panes) that matches your description. You can drag the centre vertical divider to change the width.

The Bible and Commentary occupy a Panel which is the same width as the tile. The top part with the Title is called a Tab. If you add another resource, it will be located in one of the tiles, and you will then see two tabs.

If you drag a tab around the screen you will see shaded parts that will create a vertical or horizontal Tile when you release the mouse. If you drag the tab at the same level as the other tabs, you can relocate its position in the same tile or in a different tile.
