What is "Enable Hardware Acceleration"? I have it set to no because I remember there was some kind of problem with having it on. Is that still the case? What does this do?

This is a Windows-only setting and can be helpful to address some video issues and to enhance performance.
In general, I would turn it on unless you are seeing a particular problem
Turning it on solved my problem with videos not always displaying.
