Women's History Month

Women's History Month is not very well publicized. On the website under deals it is not mentioned. I have not seen any emails about it but I did see a pop-up on the website about it once and there is a posting on the Twitter (X) feed. When you click on the link it takes you to a website which lists resources. However not all of the resources are on sale. Karen Jobes, Letters To The Church: A Survey of Hebrews and the General Epistles is listed there but not on sale. I wonder why that is. There are a number of other resources also that are not on sale.

I spent maybe 20 minutes searching the site. All I found was your post and a blog entry.

Hi Michael! Thanks for bringing attention to the Women's History Month awareness campaign running this month! We wanted to take the opportunity (as we did last month during Black History Month) to bring awareness to products written by different scholars and theologians, and are highlighting this on channels like the logos.com homepage, messaging on the Logos app, and on social media.
You are correct that not all of the products are on sale (though some are as part of our Free Book, Monthly Sale, etc.) and this is why it's not included in the logos.com navigation under the DEALS section as would be typical for promotions where all products are discounted.
We hope that you'll still take the opportunity to see what resources might pique your interest and deepen your Logos study!0 -

Please reclassify St. Birgitta of Sweden as Catholic, not Lutheran. Not only did she live about two centuries before Luther, she would also be rather offended by that classification.

What's the point of showing me products that aren't on sale. Hopefully you'll reconsider that approach for next year. It's very frequently the only time we get an opportunity to purchase diverse perspectives on sale. To not have the products on sale was very frustrating.

Hi fgh, can you please confirm where you're seeing her listed as Lutheran and I'll look into it for you.

I don't know if maybe fgh was seeing that her works are included in the Lutheran base packages and assumed that meant she was tagged as Lutheran (not so; many of the base packages have Catholic resources which are our common ancestors).
But there's a type in her name on the product description page:

Thank you, I've fixed that!

In Factbook they still misidentify her (and many others) as proto-protestants
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
