Highlight Synchronization Again

I am running Logos 32.1.31 on my MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.2.1. I am also running Logos on my iPad 8th generation running iOS 17.3.1.

I am highlighting using Emphasis Markup:Color Box on both devices.

When I highlight on the iPad it does not show up on the MacBook. Even after I sync on both devices the highlight does not appear.

When I highlight on the MacBook it does show up on the iPad.

How might I fix this.

Some additional data that might be of use is that if I create a note on either device the note icon will show up on the other device.

My first thought - have you checked which notebook the highlights on ipad are going to and is that notebook set to show up in the visual filters on the desktop.

Second thought - are you using dark mode and is that preventing you seeing the highlight

It looks like my highlights on the iPad go to a different notes file than my desktop. How do I control which notes file my iPad saves highlights in?

Never mind Alan, I have figured it out. You hit the nail on the head. The highlights on the iPad were going to a different note file than the desktop. I went to the iPad > settings > notebook for highlights and changed the setting.
