It will include an image of and a link to the item(s) on sale.
You might also see a notice on your Logos app homepage.

I don't think that's true for ebook editions though.
Yes, but if you have a large wishlist, the email might say you've got 12vitems in your wishlist on sale and only highlight 4 or 5 in the email.
