Can we get an update on what is happening with the missing footnotes in All the Genealogies of the Bible? The problem was first reported here at the end of December 2023, and about a week later Andrew indicated it was reported to the book team. The book was then updated on Jan 16, 2024; well, something, somewhere was updated but I cannot tell what. A cursory scroll through the book and I see the same thing as before - charts with footnote indicators but no corresponding footnotes.

As far as I can tell, other platforms have this book with all footnotes intact, yet I have to make do with this crippled Logos Research Edition version - is this appropriate?

If the footnotes were added, somewhere, in the Jan 2024 update, please make it clear where they were added. Otherwise, please be reminded we are still waiting on the entire book we paid for.

I worked on this title a few years ago when I worked for Accordance. I remember the footnotes were a beast. We had to actually update the Accordance engine itself to accommodate them. Hopefully it's not as difficult to add them in Logos' platform, but it's probably not trivial if there's this kind of delay.

Yes, please give us an update. Much of the book's information is simply not included in the Logos version. It's not just that the Logos implementation is confusing and difficult to read - something like a third or half of the book is literally not there!

Update: Logos finally made the footnotes available in an update yesterday (May 7, 2024) in a way I'm really pleased with. I sincerely hope I don't encounter a situation like this again. For my needs, I can deal with bad formatting or missing tagging, but missing content is just bad.

Good day Logos Users. The Logos Team implemented a fix to the notes inside the Genealogical Chart Images on May 6th. When users go to this resource in the desktop or web app, the Image Notes can be found under each image that includes Numbered Footnote Markers and scroll over them to see the pop-up with the correct note. Thank you all for your patience.
