Logos suddenly slow in start up time

I've got a fantastic computer that I specifically bought last year to handle Logos well. 12th Gen Intel Core i7 and 32 RAM. It has flown - until recently. Suddenly, Logos is taking over 30 seconds to load up, whereas previously it would never take more than 5 or so seconds.

Anyone else experiencing slower start up or loading times?

A suggestion, that I just picked up from MJ, is to check your opening layout for visual filters that might require the opening of a lot of resources.

Two other things to check: have you created any new or multiple collections recently? If memory serves, they are calculated during the loading process and can slow things down. Another thing to check is the power setting in Windows (go to Settings / Power and Energy), 'energy saving' will slow down the machine to save energy, while 'Best performance' will get the most out of hardware at the expense of increased power draw.
