I'm trying to find out who first used the "They want a Jello Jesus that will fit into any mold they choose" sermon illustration. I seem to recall that it was Pastor George Sweeting of the Moody Memorial Church in Chicago; either in the late 1960's or the early 1970's. But I'm not sure.
