Text boxes in export to PowerPoint
I am struggling here, I can create everything I need in Logos and export to PowerPoint just fine.
I make the text elements editable for my downline process. However there is a problem with EVERY scripture slide produced in Logos that I have to manually fix in PowerPoint.
The problem is the text box with the scripture reference is smaller than the text in the box, so I get errors in my downline software as it doesn't like this. So, I have to resize every single scripture reference slide, every single week.
Is there a fix for this for a once and done fix?

My weekly bump of posts that have received no response.

Are you choosing the slide preference of "One verse per slide"? (see image)
I believe I can replicate but want to confirm that my preferences match your sermon. As well as what I am seeing in Powerpoint matches what you are seeing. Can you also provide either scripture examples you are using or a photo of your sermon as well as what you are seeing in PowerPoint? (doesn't have to be all of it, just enough to see an example of text/scripture you have)0 -
Thank you for your response... Yes, I am selecting one verse per slide. The PowerPoint export settings are "editable" and any time the Book, chapter, & verse are listed in a text box the box is too short for the font size. So I either have to edit the box size or the font size. I have attached screen clips.
Logos Scripture settings:
Title screen in PowerPoint, note scripture text is overlapping bottom of the text box.
Scripture screen, note reference is overlapping top of text box.

Hey Benjamin,
What version of PowerPoint are you using? I'm currently on v16.79.2 for both macOS and Windows and do not see my reference text overlap with the textbox, similar to your screenshot. Are there any other formatting options you are choosing that you can recall? I tried a few like increase the text size, but multiple options can back similar to the photo below.
Our team is curious to know what version of PowerPoint you are using to help replicate the issue on our end.The photo is for reference of what I am seeing with my reference text box.

Myself and a colleague are still having a hard time replicating this as the scripture text isn't overlapping the text box for me. Could you export your sermon and email it to me directly? matt.mattox@logos.com Let me know when you email me as I'll come back and remove my email.
Or make the sermon public where I can access it via the documents panel.0 -
I have sent you the PP file.
