Documents

In Documents, I have two that are similar. One is called "solid colors" and the other is called "solid colors2". I also have a document called highlights.

They all seem similar and I am not sure why I have two called "solid colors" and one called highlights. Can someone help explain?

They don't appear in the highlight palettes I have from Logos by Default. You either created them yourself or downloaded a document that included them.

Thanks. I did not download them but they sure look like my highlights. Afraid to delete the documents.

What Type are they (in Documents menu)? I imported a Highlighting Palette, but it does not appear in Documents (I can delete it from the Highlighting tool).

All 3 are type Notebook. If I open notes, I see all 3 in the filters. I am not understanding, however, why in notes, also they appear as Solid Colors and Solid Colors (2). Did I do that accidentally? When I highlight, I simply highlight. I don't put them in notes. I don't put them in documents. Nor did I create a note for highlights. If I need to have this, I would prefer all highlights be in one notebook. Does that make sense?

The short version...

Actually you do (or more correctly, Logos does so automatically)..

Logos has to store the information somewhere and it does so by storing them as notes. This way you can look at the (let's say) yellow notebook and review all the yellow highlights you have made.

If you delete those notebooks, you will be deleting your highlights.

If you open each Notebook, you will find that you cannot edit the notes/highlights. So it is safe to delete the Notebooks as they are not yours.

Thank you Dave. Also, thank you Roy. I see now why some highlights which I did not make were not deletable in the text. Deleting the notebook took care of it. I wonder, however, how these notes made their way into my list of notes.
