Deleting highlighting change.
I will highlight a portion of a book (like a paragraph) to note where I last read. Then, when I start reading it again, I delete the highlight. I used to be able to touch anywhere in the highlighted part and the trashcan option would pop up in the change highlighting line so I could delete the highlight. Recently a change was made to the mobile app where I have to select the exact part that I highlighted for the trashcan to pop up to let me delete it. if I am off by a single space the trashcan will not pop up and I will not be able to delete the highlighting. This is frustrating.

Eric,
There is a way in the current version (v32) to delete a highlight, without selecting the entire highlight, that has been shared a number of times in the forums. V33 is still in beta but promises to return the ability to single click a highlight in order to delete it with the “trashcan” icon.

I found that discussion. Thank you. Maybe I should delete this thread of mine, since it was answered in the highlighting broken!! thread.

Perhaps, but while the other forums may share more information, this one is simple and to the point.

I am beta testing v. 33.0.0 and I can confirm that the quick delete functionality for highlighting (tap highlight, tap trashcan; done in two taps) works perfectly. You'll be pleased with it. 👍
