When I sort by My Tags, the Library panel presents real tags as nested under blank tags "--". This does not happen under V32 Stable.
After reviewing this, I think there is an issue here, but maybe a little different from what you're describing. On Mac, if you click on the group header but not the caret, the caret changes color but the heading doesn't expand. Unfortunately, the caret changes color to white, which is incredibly hard to see. But if you zoom way in on your screenshot, you can barely make out a little white caret.
I'll make sure we add a case to our backlog to fix that caret color and consider if we can make that header expand regardless of where on the header you click. Thanks for reporting this.
Thanks for your quick reply, Nick!
I'm nearly blind and mostly color blind, so it isn't surprising that I miss the nuances (the caret could be chartreuse as far as I know). I've used a Mac for a little over a year and had not noticed this particular behavior. I have, however, noticed occasionally that the Library window on a Mac will do the Watusi (St. Macos Dance?) and the left-most metadata sneaks past the left edge. ("Come a little bit closer, you're my kind of metadata".) Perhaps that happened and spooked my perception.
