Confused on pricing

Looking at NIVAC I see I have a price of 311.91 for Logos Edition. Then there's another price of 599.99 for Logos Edition (Group).

What is the difference?

I also, already have some NIVAC commentaries, but how do I determine if they are "Logos Edition" vs "Logos Edition (group)"? Apparently there is some difference.

Why one dynamic price for 311.91 for me, and another for 599.99?

Totally Confused. Logos, this is so dang confusing to normal folks.

Group licenses are for if you want to buy copies for other people (like a small group or a class), so it does not include any dynamic pricing.

So how do I determine when logos says "Logos Edition" for a dynamic price, that it is the research edition or the reader edition?

This is so screwed up in my opinion. You have to be very wary of what you are getting. This is just awful in my opinion.

One has to spend hours on researching, to figure out if they are being misled (or screwed).

I would hope Logos would respond.

On the product page for NIVAC I see only a research edition. It would be highly unusual for a book to be available as both a research edition and a readers edition. Where are you seeing that?

I'm not sure I am following.

The NIVAC set - https://www.logos.com/product/204717/niv-application-commentary-nivac-old-and-new-testaments-44-vols - states that the format is Research Edition so that is what you would be buying.

Have you seen different formats of this commentary set?

at the top it says "Enhanced for an icon".

" Enhanced for Logos " means enhanced for Logos, which is a generic description for tagging of the manuscript for the app.

The Product Details states:

Format: Logos Research Edition

This is what you are buying even if "reader edition" should be mentioned elsewhere (I could not find it).

The branding on this is unclear and has been a work in progress. But if it says Enhanced for Logos, it is a research edition with full tagging (in theory) and a manual quality check. If not, it is an ebook generated by an automatic process. It will have Scriptures tagged but not much else. These are cheaper. Logos never intentionally offers both versions of a product, and when there is an ebook edition and then a research edition released later, they upgrade you for free.

It used to be two different stores, but now they combine them and put that explanation about the difference in every page.

And if the product is Logos Research Edition, cut out the wording on "Reader Edition". And vice/versa, if the product is a "Reader Edition", cut out the verbage on two types of Logos Editions. (as in my screen shot earlier).

The only reason you got the verbiage about the two types of Logos Editions is because you clicked a button called Learn More, and it will disappear if you click on the Close button (in your screenshot).
