It depends on how you read through the forums ,,, I rarely see them although I know they are there.

I have acquired the skill of not seeing anything that remotely looks like an ad. If it's so obnoxious that it demands attention, I close the page before it can. 99% success.
Ahhhh, the selective adview symptom. I think many of us are contracting it. Overload fore sure.
I must be the exception ... the forum ad is the only source of Logos promotions I ever see. My Logos.com link jumps directly to product pages (at which point, I think, FL is intro'ing the 'evil' video-shorts like Amazon). Then, just kill the page. Marketing can watch their videos.

Same! I used the forums for years before I realized there were Logos ads on the pages, and I was only clued from something someone mentioned in a forum post. I turned off my ad blocker to check, and I turned it right back on.
I operate without images. I dislike images (manipulative) even more than adverts.
