App close by itself when using read aloud

Google Pixel 8 Pro 512 Gb

Android 14 5.15.131 Security Update March 5, 2024

Logos App version 33.0.0 (Build 1330000016)

I'm using read aloud to listen to bibles in english and spanish.

Engine in use: Speech Recognition and Synthesis from Google

I tap on the read aloud icon, use either the speaker or wireless headset and after a couple of minutes the app close by itself.

Please advice.
