To use download version or web version? Is there any particular benefit of one over the other . i use logos 9

The desktop version supports much more functionality than the web version so I would recommend using desktop over web unless some particular constraints apply - such as:
Outside of those I would go with the desktop app.
And you mention you are using Logos 9. Due to a change in the way license numbering works (introduced in the Logos 10 timeframe) most Logos users are running version 32 of the engine with Logos 9 / Logos 10 really relating to what packages / feature sets a customer has purchased.
