notes
How can I use Logos to keep notes from several resources like the Lexham Research Commentary does for a single topic to write an introductory list of notes in Word Document. Would this be a clippings type of thing?

Please clarify your question.
You seem to start by asking about how to store notes in Logos but then finish by talking about notes in a Word document.
Within Logos, there are two basic mechanisms for collecting information:
The Notes Tool allows customers to create a set of free-format notes (that can optionally be grouped in Notebooks) into which you can write your own ideas / thoughts. Notes have icons that can be used to show the text in books that they relate to
Clippings provide the abilty to "clip" a portion of a book that you can then go back to for further study. Each clipping maintains a link to the book so you can easily get back to it. Individual clippings are kept in Clippings documents so you could have a Clippings document on a topic with a range of extracts from different books in it. You can add your own comments to Clippings but they don't provide any indication in the original text.
Do either of these give you what you are looking for?

Yes. Both very helpful.
