Delete Guided Learning Files
Can you delete the Guided Learning files? (Ny8969P3hzecR?bENy8969P3hzecR?bEAppData\Local\Logos\Documents\f2az3yik.hxk\GuidedLearning)
They take up a lot of space on my PC.

About the only thing you can safely delete in Logos is the contents of %LocalAppData%/Logos/Data/[whatever]/WebCache. Everything else is there for a reason. You can put type:course in your library and remove courseware to save on videos. If you need more space, you can run "Delete Unlicensed Resources" in the Go box and it will clear out previewed or returned resources. If you have a lot of those, then you can do "Reindex All Resources," but that will be time-consuming.

They take up a lot of space on my PC.
This is used to record plans for mobile ed courses and other educational books. My Logos has a phenomenal 4GB for 27,000 Thumbnails whilst Verbum's is only 663 MB! And it seems to provide plans for books I don't own.
I renamed the Thumbnails folder, restarted Logos and it created an empty folder in its place. I went through a couple of started courses without problem (I had not deleted the database file) and the Thumbnails folder is still empty. So I deleted the renamed folder.
So if you want to remove your Thumbnails folder, it appears that Logos will not reclaim the space.

Can you show me step by step how to do that Dave? How do I find that folder? Is it on my C Drive? If so where?

He's talking about the contents of the file you posted in the beginning of this thread. You can use that path.

Yes. That is what a friend told me he could delete off my PC. But now I do not know how to get back to it. My friend was trying to help me. He was not very sure though if it was going to cause damage to the software.

Ask your friend to read my post and delete the folder.
