Not requiring admin rights for Mac updates?

I am the admin for a church and seminary, and our users don't have admin rights on their machines. Is it possible to set up Logos on macOS in such a way that updates don't require admin privileges? There is a twelve-year old post about this on the forums, but I need up to date info about this.
