word list - filter out insignificant words?

I'm using the Word List tool to get a count of most frequent words (I don't have access to the concordance tool). I would like to filter the results to not include what I consider insignificant words such as these which are not too useful to me:
the, and, this, a, an, I, we, he, be, not

Is there a way to filter out these smaller words such as articles or adverbs or adjectives?

Under the Merge option of the word list, I do see that I can merge with another list using the "difference" option that should remove items.

So as a workaround, I should be able to delete rows with significant words from a word list leaving just the ones I don't want (a, an, the, this, but, not, etc..) in the list. Then use that list as a filter to remove the insignificant words from other word lists.

The challenge I foresee is what happens when a future word list includes new insignificant words. To address this, I could use the "add" option to add new words to the filter out list from the clipboard.

I'll give the above a try and see how it goes.

Use Bible or Morph Search and successively select the parts of speech that you want after typing . Join them with OR e.g. morph.g:V followed by typing until you have what you want e.g. morph.g:V OR morph.g:N OR morph.g:T ....Create a Word List from the results. Be sure to use a Greek Bible like NA28 or SBLGNT.

No need to worry about exclusion lists. Save the Search to Favorites for future use.
