When I look at the filter in notes, there is a Bible Book heading with various but not all of the books of the bible as dropdowns underneath that heading.

How do I add a book of the bible so it shows up under that Bible Book heading in the filter.

I am not following your question. Can you clarify?

When I open notes and go the the filter, one of the items I see in the list is 'Bible Book' with dropdowns for many of the books of the bible but not all of them.  I want to add Zechariah to the list.

Maybe I added the original bible books but when I add a notebook called Bible Book: Zechariah, it doesn't get added to the dropdown.

I think this is a bug. And I can confirm what you are saying. I do not know though how to fix this. Maybe someone else can help you.

Maybe I'm not understanding but here's what works for me..... but in Windows 11, Logos 32++

    1. Tools -> Notes

    2. In Notes, click on Notebooks.

    3. In Notebooks, click on the "plus" (+) sign.

    4. On the "untitled Notebook" rename it to what you want, in your case it would be "Bible Book: Zechariah".

    5. Press enter key.

And you should see your Notebook named "Bible Book: Zechariah" and when you click on Zechariah it should open a Note tab named Bible Book: Zechariah where you can add notes.

Edit:  I don't think there is a "limit" to how many notes a notebook can have. And I don't know of any restriction that would not allow "Bible Book" to not have many names associated with it.

Edit #2: I think if your only looking at the "filter" the "funnel" you may not see all of them. Look under "Notebooks" and I think you should see all of them.

If I remember correctly, the “Bible Book” section under Filter  points to notes that are actually anchored within a book of the Bible. These notes may be a part of any number of notebooks, or even exist on their own outside of a notebook.

If you have no note anchored in Zechariah, Zechariah should not show up under the Bible Book filter; if you make a note that is anchored to a verse within Zechariah, that note should then show up under Bible Book: Zechariah.

You can also create a notebook, as xnman described, naming it anything that you desire.

You can find these listed under the Notebook  section.

You can create as many notebooks as you need. I have a specific notebook, for example, named “Genesis” that holds notes that I have anchored in the book of Genesis for a specific Bible study. I also have a notebook entitled “Men's Devotion” that holds notes that are anchored in Genesis as well.

If I select “Genesis” in the “Bible Book” filter and choose the notebook entitled “Genesis” in my notebooks, I then have a list of all my notes within Genesis that are also in that specific notebook.
