Search Omissions

A constant frustration in Logos is the random omission of search results. For instance, I did a simple search for the word 'abundantly'. Paul said in the KJV, "I laboured more abundantly than they all".

Search returns results for 'abundance', 'abundant' and 'abundantly' however, 1 Cor. 15:10 is not a returned result. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for the omissions. This is not an issue when the desire result is front of mind. But, for results I have not contemplated or would rediscover were the correct results provided, I would more than likely miss out on, if not for other resources.

Suggestions welcomed.

I can't reproduce what you are describing - please post a screenshot (use the paperclip icon in the forum editor) showing your search and results

Hm. It is for me, as it should be:

    can you share a screenshot?

I personally did not ever encounter a "random omission of search results" (which I would consider a devastatingly critical bug for Logos) and I don't think I recall such reports from the forum.

Thanks for the replies. This particular instance was user error. I keep four separate search windows open at any given time and had forgotten that I previously had switched the Bible to ESV in preparation for Sunday's message. [*-)]

I will repost when I can replicate the issue with the correct Bible selected.
