Copy & Paste formatting in Pages 14
So, one of my biggest complaints about C&P in Pages has been that the destination format was somehow always changed to Helvetica font and I don't use Helvetica - so 1980's
Anyways, on the new update in Pages 14 - we are ALMOST there but not there. The format in the paste does keep the font of my document, which is Proxima Nova - BUT the bold verse reference doesn't come over. Adds an extra step still but we are getting there. I was always told it was an Apple issue, I just don't know if there is a workaround in the code for Logos to force the "bold" command.
Stay the course, Preach the Word -

Just to be clear Rino?
I take it that when. you say
you are actually meaning copy from somewhere in Logos to a pages document and that you have Proxima Nova installed in the 'Fonts' app of the your computer?Rino M. Dattilo said:C&P in Pages
Please tell us where you are copying from in Logos and I will see if I can replicate.

I have a similar issue: copy and pasting text from a commentary into a Bible text note. The pasted text is always a different font from the existing note. More annoyingly, I have to select all, click the font box, click another font, click back to the original font, and same with the text size. Very cumbersome. A paste function that matches the destination formatting would be great.

Sorry, I am not getting emailed when there are responses!
OK, here is what I am saying - on a MAC we have the amazing service to Replace with Passage (LOGOS). So all I have to do is:
- In Pages (or Word - don't use it!) type the verse Jn 5.4
- I use Command+Shift+Left arrow to highlight said verse
- I then have my old ONlineBIble key command set up Command=Shift+7 (left hand never moves)
- BAM! Scripture is inserted! (Every Mac user should be doing this - BRILLIANT and just like old OnlineBible)
No other windows to open BUT - it comes over in Helvetica font and doesn't retain the default font.
Yes I can use the shift+option+commaand+v but then my Bold ref is not carried over from Logos.
I hope this makes sense!
