Aquinas, Thomas. On the Power of God [Questiones Disputatae de Potentia Dei]. Translated by the English Dominican Fathers. Westminster, MD: Newman Press, 1952.
I'm trying to think back to when I took a class in Medieval philosophy - unfortunately my detailed memory from 62 years ago is a bit blurry but I may come up with some other suggestions.
Results of thinking back:
potentia Dei absoluta
potentia Dei ordinata
On the modern side and related to the Kaiser title, have you read Teilhard de Chardin? He's actually one of the first theologians I read and he does in an odd way fit into your study.
I knew Aquinas had to of been somewhere in there because of his Summa Theologica. That was my only reading of him in my classes so I was not acquainted with his other works. Pabst, Adrian. Metaphysics: The Creation of Hierarchy looks good. It is at a library near my home. I will get it today. I had not heard of Teilhard de Chardin. I will study that one as well. Do you have any thoughts as to what to read first of Teilhard de Chardin? Also where would you start with Origen on the topic above?
