Multiple resources into collections?

I'm creating collections which I want to drag lots of resources from the library at once, eg. a collection with all my Spurgeon recourses, if I highlight all resources I can't drag them over at the same time, only one at a time.

Is there a way to do a lot at once, rather than 1 at a time?

You can - if you are creating the Collection for the first time.

Select the books in the Library panel, ensure the Info pane is open on the right and click the Save as Collection button

But I suggest a better option is to tag each set of books you want to include in collections and then use a rule to add those sets of books into the collection.

For example, if you tagged some books as SpurgeonsBooks then you could use the rule mytag:SpurgeonsBooks in the Collection definition.

If you don't know how to do any of the above, please advise.

Thanks Graham, good to know! I knew there must be a better way :)

To make collections for authors, you can also use a rule such as "author:Spurgeon"

Graham's suggestion with tagging resources first and then using the "mytags" in the rule of course allows for other uses in other tools as well and ensures that resources you have selected and categorized by your particular tag will be included.
