Personal Books Bug? Unable to import DOCX files

When I try to create a new personal book, my files in the Finder are all grayed out and I'm unable to select any of them (including .DOCX files).

This problem began somewhat recently when I switched computers to a Mac mini. Prior to this I was able to create new personal books, and those books I already created continue working.

I'm on a Mac, OS 12.7.2 and my Verbum is 33.2.7. I have the v10 Full Feature Set and am subscribed to Verbum Now.

I don't understand to what you are referring with "in the Finder" ? Also, it is unclear to me what this screenshot actually shows ... could you clarify?

It's about the list of files I have on my computer

Greetings Alberto and welcome to the forums.

Please open Finder and select 'Show Path Bar' and then repost your screenshot with the path showing.

It is the one below the item highlighted on my screenshot. I often find having the Path Bar visible is useful.

I see that you are browsing your desktop. Is this true in other folders/paths as well?

This is an old version of macOS. Is your Mac mini capable of updating to the current version of macOS?
