I don't think so, as I am unable to find it addressed anywhere. But, in case I missed something obvious. I thought I would ask also.

If the answer is 'No', I'll return with my work-arounds to solicit possiible streamlining advice.

The question is ambiguous. What is wrong with CMD+R?

    The question is ambiguous.

Okay, I'll give it another go:  The output in the Right Sidebar, which might contain Insights, Summaries, or Translation, does not seem to me to have a command to read it aloud. I have been unable to find any indication that those items are capable of the Read Aloud function. My inauiry was prompted by my occasional oversight of application aspects that are sometimes obvious to others.

    What is wrong with CMD+R?

It works splendidly on the resource, but not the Right Sidebar contents, the object of my question. Does Logos read aloud those items under Windows?

    Thanks.

    Thank you for the clarification.

There is no command to read aloud text in the sidebar, but I'm sure there will be a workaround on the internet.

I thought your question was ambigious at first too. I would like to see a workaround there as well Robert so if you find one kindly post it to the forum.

My blunt-instrument work-arround: Copy and paste into the TextEdit app and invoke the Edit>Speech>Start [or Stop] Speaking.

Since a long menu traverse is a bane for someone with a pinhole-sized vision field, I added Custom Keyboard Shortcuts for starting an stopping. The combo key characters appear now in the menu itself, but the keys do not work. Searching the web indicates a number of reportts that the Sonoma update broke Custom Keyboard Shortcuts (at least for some). This is distressing, as this happened five-six months ago and we all know that Apple knew about this problem the day after (or before). I would have tried Pages for this function, thinking it might have the shortcut keys natively, but I could not find any way to make the annoying 'Welcome' banner go away (which disables the File>New command); no buttons, no window controls. #DeathBy1000Gotchas

Work-arounds, by nature, are UFOs in the oatmeal of Accessibility.
