book recommendations for an Assemblies of God Pentecostal?

Hi everyone.

I posted earlier about book recommendations and I was told that I had to be more specific then that as far as denomination etc.

So here it is. I'm looking for books written from the Assemblies of God prospective.

A systematic theology would be nice if there is one, or anything like that. Any recommendations?

Jorge, the closest thing to an Assemblies of God ST text is this one: https://www.logos.com/product/164310/systematic-theology-revised-edition It is multi-author.

You can search logos.com for "Assembly of God" and find many works. They also have a series of packages for something called the Bible Engagement Project that is AG. Here's the silver one: https://www.logos.com/product/228462/logos-10-silver-bible-engagement-project

Logos has other Pentecostal-Charismatic base packages that includes titles beyond AG works. You can search for those too.

A systematics title I had recommended earlier that is not AG but is very good is this one: https://www.logos.com/product/177271/renewal-theology-systematic-theology-from-a-charismatic-perspective

Williams was a charismatic presbyterian, and his eschatology is very different from the AG position. However, his substantial section on the Holy Spirit is worth reading. Williams has been said to have out-Pentecostaled the Pentecostals.

Now, beyond books, a friendly recommendation: you have 5 posts so far on this forum. You have started 5 threads. People have taken the time to respond to them and give you advice. You have yet to revisit any of those threads to interact with them. It would be nice if you would do so.

Amos Yong is a good scholar in the Pentecostal tradition you should be aware of and reading in. His work is a good addition to the volumes above. On a side note, I agree with Sean. Now that you have the advice requested you should be able to divulge a good plan of action to begin digging deeper.
