Please Help me understand logos 10 search and tags feature sets and datasets

I am new to logos. 3 weeks

I use Mac, but I use my android more. I got the bronze 9 baptist, reformed, and Jewish sets.

I love it and use it. I got the preaching suit essentials and can't figure for the life of me what is better or in depth

only preaching mode

can anyone shed some light

is it faster

can it find topics better in my commentaries

is tags better? can I see more?

I don’t use the preaching suite, so I can’t give you direct guidance. However, the quick start videos in logos are very good and I’ve also found great videos on YouTube.

I got the preaching suite.

If I am in passage guide I can't see any extra things about the passage

More descriptions more parts and a commentary references to other books

I don't see any difference when searching in logos 10 are logos 9 that was my main question I guess

But also when I right click on a word it shows the context menu

I don't see many if hardly any little data sets I think they're called or little other options about the passage or word I have right clicked on

So my question was what makes for logos 10 better

I know that there is some data sets interactive menus apart from a couple of things like that I don't know what actually runs better. Search is better more results I don't see any of these types of things am I asking a word question I don't know

Yeah I looked at a video already thanks for it but my question really is apart from the couple of things that you get in the higher price feature sets fought really is the difference in the lower version as opposed to the free version well thanks for help buddy I appreciate

I may not understand your question.... but...

I subscribed to Logos Pro (Early access).... which costs $9.99 per month and I think is the latest version.... Why did I do that?

1. you get the A.I. search..... which I find useful and use.

2. You get Smart Assistant sermon helper..... which I have not used much but plan to use more.

3. I think you get more books.

Others may chime in and explain further.... [8-|]

I don't remember what is in the preaching suit essentials, but you are comparing apples and oranges a little bit. Logos 9 and 10 are different in speed supposedly, but I am not sure if it is anything noticeably significant. The main thing you are getting different would be the resources and possibly extra features and datasets that come along with the preaching suit. This means you will have new resources to use that may have extra tags for better searching capabilities.

Summing it up, if I understand it right at least, you are paying for the resources and features, not really the upgrade differences between 9 and 10 as these are techinically free (not the features but the software itself).

First, I assume you are using the latest software in desktop Logos i.e. Logos 33 or 34.
If you got the Legacy Logos 9 Preaching Suite, you only got books and did not get any features (datasets, interactives, etc) that will improve your experience in Passage Guide or Context Menu (or other tools).

So, your confusion can be resolved by telling us exactly what software you are using, exactly what version of Preaching Suite you got and whether you also got its features. And what do you mean by Logos 10 (software, books or features)?
