Unify anchors cleanup

I am changing my note-taking strategy and have created a mess. Notebook A had about 2000 notes anchored to several different resources. I highlighted them in order to apply the same tag to all of them. Along the way, I discovered the "Unify Anchor" function and thought it might be a way to "group" the highlighted notes by resource.

Wrong!

Now, each note has hundreds of anchors. I'm having trouble finding the original note-anchor combination to delete the unwanted anchors.

I contacted support, but there was a slight language barrier. The agent said there is no way to "undo" the current note-anchor mess.

Does anyone have a suggestion regarding how to clean it up?

There is not a way to undo this action. The only thing you know for certain is that the first anchor is the Note anchor and must remain, but you won't know for certain what anchors were added to a Note.

You might request Support to ask the Developers to roll-back that "unify" transaction.
